Also, love the Eckhart example. I’ve considered making these very misreadings of Eckhart, and offering a more holistic neochalcedonian reading of him, the subject of a PhD dissertation in the future.

I think the same false fissure exists between “theology” and “mysticism/prayee/spirituality”. Eckhart unites all three. His (modern anglophone) readers rarely see that.
